Tell Albertsons, Fred Meyer, and Safeway to pay their workers enough to survive and thrive.
Albertsons, Fred Meyer (Kroger), and Safeway are not paying workers enough to live. Tell them to do better.
In signing this petition I am stating my intention to stand with the hard-working grocery store workers (members of UFCW Local 555) as they do whatever it takes to get an equitable wage increase that makes it possible for them to live in their communities and buy groceries at their stores.
I would honor a picket line if a strike were to occur.
I believe that people who work hard for a living should be paid enough to survive and thrive: one job should be enough.
Oh, and while we're at it, should hard-working grocery journeywomen at Fred Meyer be hired into lower-paying jobs? Learn more at https://www.ufcw555.org/the-women-of-555/. We say it's NOT OK for the men who run Fred Meyer to make more by paying women less.
Please sign this petition to
tell Albertsons, Fred Meyer, and Safeway to do the right thing.
